The Montrachet Grand Cru 'Marquis de Laguiche' is one of Burgundy's most legendary white wines, representing an extraordinary partnership that dates back to 1947. The Laguiche family, owners of the largest parcel of the famed Montrachet vineyard since 1363, entrusted the cultivation, vinification, and distribution of their precious vines exclusively to Maison Joseph Drouhin. Located on the Puligny-Montrachet side of the slope, this exceptional terroir features optimal sun exposure and complex limestone soils that yield Chardonnay of unparalleled depth and elegance. Drouhin vinifies this masterpiece with utmost respect for tradition, utilizing gentle pressing and aging in French oak barrels to preserve the pure, majestic expression of the terroir. The resulting wine is renowned for its sublime complexity, balancing rich textures of white peach, hazelnut, and honey with a precise, mineral-driven acidity.

Maison Joseph Drouhin blev grundlagt i 1880 af Joseph Drouhin og er et ikonisk bourgognehus med historisk hovedsæde i hjertet af Beaune. Vinhuset har været i Drouhin-familiens eje gennem fire generationer, og i dag råder domænet over exceptionelle parceller i topappellationer på tværs af Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, Chablis samt Willamette Valley i Oregon.
