Sourced from the historic Bacchus Vineyard, one of Washington State's most venerable planting sites established in 1972 along the Columbia River, this Cabernet Sauvignon showcases the remarkable depth of old-vine viticulture. Winemaker Ryan Crane of Kerloo Cellars employs a low-intervention approach to let this legendary terroir speak clearly. The vineyard's ancient vines, rooted in wind-blown loess and sandy loam soils, endure hot desert days and cool desert nights, yielding small, concentrated berries. The resulting wine is a masterful expression of Columbia Valley Cabernet, balancing intense dark fruit character with structured tannins, vibrant acidity, and a distinct mineral undertone that pays homage to the rugged Pacific Northwest landscape.
