Hailing from the legendary Boushey Vineyard in Washington's Yakima Valley, this Sauvignon Blanc is a testament to the collaborative genius of grower Dick Boushey and winemaker Ryan Crane. Boushey Vineyard, celebrated for its cooler microclimate and complex silt loam soils over basalt, yields fruit with remarkable natural acidity and mineral tension. Kerloo Cellars coaxes out these distinctive traits by utilizing low-intervention winemaking techniques, often fermenting and aging the wine in concrete eggs or neutral French oak. This method preserves the vibrant, citrusy core of the grape while imparting a beautifully textured, mineral-driven mouthfeel. The result is a sophisticated expression of Washington Sauvignon Blanc that balances Old World restraint with New World fruit purity.

Kerloo Cellars blev grundlagt i 2007 af vinmageren Ryan Crane i Washington States berømte Walla Walla Valley. Her fremstiller vinhuset håndværksvine med udpræget terroirpræg, som hylder de ypperste vinmarker i Pacific Northwest. Filosofien bygger på minimal intervention, afdæmpet brug af egetræ og spontangæring med naturlig gær, hvor Crane stræber efter at fremhæve den rene, levende frugtkarakter fra anerkendte parceller i Columbia Valley og Yakima Valley. Vinhuset har opnået særlig anerkendelse for sine dynamiske vine i Rhône-stil – især enkeltdarks-Syrah og frisk Grenache Rosé – suppleret af energiske fortolkninger af Tempranillo, Grenache Blanc og Sauvignon Blanc.
