Hailing from the warm, sun-drenched slopes of the Yakima Valley, the Kerloo Cellars Mourvedre from the esteemed Lonesome Spring Ranch is a masterclass in Washington State's ability to coax complexity from late-ripening Rhône varieties. Winemaker Ryan Crane utilizes low-intervention techniques to let the unique terroir of this vineyard shine. Lonesome Spring Ranch, characterized by its well-drained gravelly soils and sandy loam, provides the perfect heat accumulation for Mourvedre. The resulting wine is celebrated for its wild, savory character, balancing dark berry fruits with rustic undertones of cured meats, cracked black pepper, and dried scrub brush—a sensory nod to the arid sagebrush landscape surrounding the vineyard.

Kerloo Cellars blev grundlagt i 2007 af vinmageren Ryan Crane i Washington States berømte Walla Walla Valley. Her fremstiller vinhuset håndværksvine med udpræget terroirpræg, som hylder de ypperste vinmarker i Pacific Northwest. Filosofien bygger på minimal intervention, afdæmpet brug af egetræ og spontangæring med naturlig gær, hvor Crane stræber efter at fremhæve den rene, levende frugtkarakter fra anerkendte parceller i Columbia Valley og Yakima Valley.
