Sourced from the Painted Hills Vineyard in Washington's Yakima Valley, this single-vineyard Mourvèdre showcases Kerloo Cellars' dedication to low-intervention, terroir-driven winemaking. Winemaker Ryan Crane coaxes an elegant, complex expression from a grape often known for its rustic power. The Painted Hills site, characterized by its unique microclimate and well-drained soils, imparts a distinct savory character to the fruit. Kerloo's approach emphasizes minimal oak influence, allowing the natural voice of the vineyard to shine through with signature notes of dark fruit, cured meats, wild herbs, and cracked black pepper, reflecting the rugged beauty of the Columbia Basin.

Kerloo Cellars blev grundlagt i 2007 af vinmageren Ryan Crane i Washington States berømte Walla Walla Valley. Her fremstiller vinhuset håndværksvine med udpræget terroirpræg, som hylder de ypperste vinmarker i Pacific Northwest. Filosofien bygger på minimal intervention, afdæmpet brug af egetræ og spontangæring med naturlig gær, hvor Crane stræber efter at fremhæve den rene, levende frugtkarakter fra anerkendte parceller i Columbia Valley og Yakima Valley.
