Hailing from the arid, sun-drenched Wahluke Slope AVA, the Stone Tree Vineyard is renowned for producing some of Washington State's most compelling Spanish-style reds. Kerloo Cellars harnesses this unique terroir to craft a Tempranillo that bridges Old World soul with New World intensity. The vineyard itself is named after the ancient petrified wood found throughout the region, a testament to the dramatic geological history of the Columbia Basin. Winemaker Ryan Crane utilizes low-intervention techniques, allowing the intense heat and gravelly, silt-loam soils of Stone Tree to express themselves through bold dark fruit, savory tobacco, and leather notes, framed by a rustic yet refined tannic structure.

Founded in 2007 by winemaker Ryan Crane in Walla Walla, Washington, Kerloo Cellars is named after the distinctive call of the near-extinct Whooping Crane.
