Kerloo Cellars' 'The Princess' Syrah is a premier expression of Walla Walla Valley Syrah, crafted to highlight the elegant, perfumed, and structurally sophisticated side of the varietal. Winemaker Ryan Crane utilizes low-intervention techniques, including native yeast fermentation and careful whole-cluster integration, to capture the distinct sense of place. The name 'The Princess' pays homage to the wine's graceful yet powerful character, juxtaposing savory, Old World complexity with the vibrant, concentrated fruit profile characteristic of Washington State's finest terroirs. It stands as a testament to the region's ability to produce world-class, Northern Rhône-style Syrah with deep sense of place and longevity.
