Sourced from the historic Green's Vineyard in the Clare Valley, this single-vineyard Shiraz is a testament to the region's unique microclimate and ancient soils. Planted on its own roots, the vineyard yields low quantities of highly concentrated fruit. The terroir is defined by warm, sunny days tempered by cool evening breezes flowing through the valley, allowing the grapes to develop rich, complex flavors while maintaining vital natural acidity. Kilikanoon employs traditional winemaking techniques, including open-top fermentation and basket pressing, followed by maturation in select French oak hogsheads. The resulting wine is renowned for its muscular structure, deep dark-fruit profile, and seamless integration of savory oak, embodying the robust yet elegant signature of Clare Valley Shiraz.

Kilikanoon blev grundlagt i 1997 af vinmageren Kevin Mitchell og ligger i den naturskønne Clare Valley i South Australia. Vingården henter sine druer fra historiske, lavtydende gamle vinstokke fordelt over en række forskellige mikroklimaer og jordbundstyper, og huset er dedikeret til at skabe vine med enestående kraft, præcision og regional autenticitet. Kilikanoon har opnået stor international anerkendelse for sine dybt koncentrerede, strukturerede rødvine – heriblandt især flagskibene Oracle Shiraz og Prodigal Grenache – side om side med krystalklare, gemmeværdige Clare Valley Riesling-vine.
