Hailing from the steep, wind-swept terraces surrounding the high-altitude village of Krasno in the Goriška Brda region, Klet Brda's Krasno Rebula is a pure expression of Slovenia's most cherished indigenous white grape. The name 'Krasno' pays homage to this picturesque village, where vineyards cling to dramatic slopes composed of 'opoka'—a unique local soil of layered marl and sandstone. This terroir, combined with the dramatic collision of warm Adriatic breezes and cool Alpine winds, imparts a distinctive mineral tension and vibrant acidity to the wine. Historically, Rebula has been cultivated in these hills since at least the 13th century, surviving centuries of political and agricultural shifts to remain the liquid soul of Primorska. Crafted primarily in stainless steel to preserve its pristine fruit character, this wine offers a sensory journey through the sun-drenched, terraced hillsides of Brda, showcasing notes of green apple, citrus blossom, and a signature saline minerality.

Established in 1957 as a cooperative uniting local winegrowing families, Klet Brda is the leading wine producer in the picturesque Goriška Brda region of western Slovenia, situated between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea. Working with hundreds of multi-generational families who tend steep, terraced vineyards planted on distinctive flysch and sandstone soils known locally as 'opoka', the winery seamlessly merges centuries of viticultural tradition with state-of-the-art cellar techniques.
