Nestled where the foothills of the Julian Alps meet the warm breezes of the Adriatic Sea, the Goriška Brda region provides a spectacular microclimate for expressive sparkling wines. The Quercus Rose Methode Charmat is a vibrant celebration of this unique terroir, crafted to capture the youthful, energetic spirit of the Slovenian hillsides. Named 'Quercus' after the majestic oak trees that dot the local landscape, this sparkling rosé is produced using the Charmat method in stainless steel tanks, a process specifically chosen to preserve the pristine, primary red fruit aromas and crisp acidity of the grapes. Grown on steep, terraced vineyards dominated by 'opoka' (mineral-rich marl and sandstone soil), the vines yield fruit with a distinctive mineral backbone, resulting in a sparkling wine that is both playful and remarkably elegant.
