The Quercus Rumeni Muskat-Verduc is a captivating white blend that showcases the unique viticultural synergy of the Goriška Brda hills, where the warm Mediterranean breezes meet the cool Alpine winds. Grown on the region's signature 'opoka' soil—a mineral-rich marl and sandstone flysch—this wine beautifully marries two distinct grape varieties. The Rumeni Muškat (Yellow Muscat) contributes intense, seductive aromas of white blossoms, citrus peel, and fresh grapes, while the indigenous Verduc (Verduzzo) provides essential structure, body, and a characteristic touch of wild almond on the finish. Hand-harvested from steep, sun-drenched terraced vineyards, this blend represents a modern interpretation of the region's historical cross-border winemaking traditions, balancing vibrant aromatics with a refined, refreshing palate.
