Hailing from the sun-drenched, terraced slopes of Goriška Brda, the Virgo Brut Nature is a masterclass in Slovenian sparkling wine craftsmanship. Produced using the traditional method (Metoda Klasična), this zero-dosage cuvée is a pure expression of its unique terroir, where the warm Adriatic breeze meets the cool Alpine winds. The grapes are grown on 'opoka'—the region's signature mineral-rich marl and sandstone soil—which infuses the wine with a distinctive saline minerality and taut structure. The name 'Virgo' pays homage to the untouched, pristine character of a Brut Nature sparkling wine, allowed to express its natural acidity and depth without the addition of a sweetening dosage. Following secondary fermentation in the bottle, the wine undergoes extensive lees aging, resulting in a sophisticated sparkling profile that balances vibrant Mediterranean citrus with complex, autolytic notes of toasted brioche and hazelnut.
