The Krug Grande Cuvée 160ème Édition represents the 160th recreation of founder Joseph Krug's ultimate dream: to craft the most generous and complex Champagne possible every single year, transcending the notion of vintage. Built around the harvest of 2004, this masterpiece is a spectacular blend of 134 individual wines spanning 12 different vintages, with the oldest dating back to 1990. Composed of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier, each parcel was fermented individually in small oak casks—a signature Krug tradition that imparts incredible structure and micro-oxygenation. Over a decade of patient aging in the cool chalk cellars of Reims has transformed this assembly into an extraordinary symphony of toasted brioche, hazelnut, candied citrus, and deep mineral complexity, showcasing the house's legendary craftsmanship.
