Crafted around the harvest of 2015, a year of dramatic heat and drought, this edition is a masterclass in blending. It harmonizes 131 individual reserve wines from 12 different years, with the oldest dating back to 2000. This meticulous assembly consists of 45% Pinot Noir, 37% Chardonnay, and 18% Meunier, all fermented in traditional small oak casks. After resting for around seven years on its lees in the Reims cellars, the 171eme Edition emerges with unparalleled complexity, tension, and a rich, golden hue, embodying a legacy of uncompromising craftsmanship that has endured since 1843.
