Hailing from the historic wine-growing town of Gumpoldskirchen in Austria's Thermenregion, Weingut Krug's Ried Rasslerin is a stunning showcase of the rare, indigenous Rotgipfler grape. The Rasslerin vineyard is a prized south-facing site characterized by warm Pannonian winds and deep, calcareous soils rich in shell limestone. This unique terroir allows the late-ripening Rotgipfler to achieve optimal phenolic ripeness, yielding a wine of remarkable depth, texture, and complexity.
