Crafted by the legendary La Rioja Alta, S.A., a historic estate established in Haro's Barrio de la Estación in 1890, Viña Alberdi is a profound tribute to Nicolas Alberdi, a pivotal past president of the bodega. This wine is traditionally a 100% Tempranillo, sourced from high-altitude vineyards in Rodezno and Labastida within Rioja Alta. True to the estate's uncompromising commitment to traditional Rioja winemaking, the grapes undergo meticulous fermentation before aging in custom American oak barrels handcrafted by the winery's in-house coopers. The resulting wine is celebrated for its classic profile: a harmonious blend of vibrant red fruit, sweet vanilla, coconut, and subtle balsamic undertones, framed by the signature bright acidity and silky tannins that define old-school Rioja elegance.

La Rioja Alta, S.A. blev grundlagt i 1890 af fem visionære baskiske og riojanske familier i Haros historiske stationskvarter, Barrio de la Estación, og fremstår i dag som et af de mest urokkelige pejlemærker for klassisk vinfremstilling i Rioja.
