Distilled on the shores of Lagavulin Bay, the spirit undergoes an exceptionally slow distillation in pear-shaped stills, capturing a heavy, oil-rich, and deeply phenolic character. While the standard expression matures in oak casks, the Distillers Edition undergoes a secondary maturation in specially selected Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.
