Selected by Master Blender Dr. Craig Wilson, this rare expression was matured in a single refill European oak butt, showcasing a magnificent harmony between Lagavulin's legendary maritime peat smoke and the elegant, spicy influence of seasoned European oak. Distilled during a historic era at the distillery on the rocky shores of Islay, its slow distillation in pear-shaped stills yields a spirit of immense depth.
