Lanson's Noble Cuvée Blanc de Blancs represents the pinnacle of the house's purist philosophy, showcasing the absolute elegance of Chardonnay sourced exclusively from the legendary Grand Cru villages of the Côte des Blancs, primarily Avize and Cramant. First introduced to celebrate the ultimate expression of the noble white grape, this prestige cuvée is defined by Lanson's historic signature: the strict avoidance of malolactic fermentation. By preserving the natural, vibrant malic acidity of the grapes, the wine undergoes a slow, majestic evolution. It is aged on its lees in the deep chalk cellars of Reims for a minimum of a decade, allowing the initial piercing acidity to integrate with rich autolytic notes of brioche, hazelnut, and preserved citrus. The result is a Champagne of immense structural tension, crystalline purity, and a deep, chalky minerality that pays homage to the ancient soils of its origin.

Champagne Lanson blev grundlagt i 1760 af François Delamotte og fik senere sit nuværende navn under Jean-Baptiste Lansons ledelse. Huset hører til blandt de ældste og mest historisk betydningsfulde champagnehuse i Reims. I dag er Lanson en del af Lanson-BCC-gruppen, hvor kældermester Hervé Dantan styrer vinifikationen. Huset henter sine Pinot Noir-, Chardonnay- og Meunier-druer fra omkring 400 hektar vinmarker, herunder 60 hektar egne marker, der dyrkes bæredygtigt med parceller certificeret som både økologiske og biodynamiske. De mange terroirs tæller grand cru- og premier cru-marker på tværs af Montagne de Reims og Côte des Blancs, suppleret af den bemærkelsesværdige, murede bymark Clos Lanson, hvis vinstokke henter næring i ren kridt.
