Ready to drink immediately upon release. Unlike wine, spirits do not mature further in the bottle, but this exceptional cask-strength bottling will remain pristine for decades if stored upright and away from direct sunlight.

Strong blue cheeses such as Roquefort, high-quality dark chocolate with sea salt, and rich smoked meats like venison or duck.

✨ wine.spec_sheet

Laphroaig, established in 1815 on the rugged south coast of Islay by brothers Donald and Alexander Johnston, is world-renowned for its uncompromisingly peaty, medicinal, and maritime character. This rare 25-Year-Old Cask Strength expression, bottled in 2022 at a robust 53.4% ABV, represents a masterful marriage of single malt matured in second-fill Oloroso sherry casks and ex-bourbon barrels. Over a quarter-century of maturation in warehouses kissed by the damp Atlantic gales has softened the distillery's signature fiery peat smoke into a sublime, complex harmony. The result is a legendary dram where the intense medicinal peat is beautifully balanced by rich dried stone fruits, sweet vanilla, spicy oak, and a lingering, salty sea-breeze finish.

🍾 wine.about_producer

Established in 1815 by brothers Donald and Alexander Johnston, Laphroaig Distillery is situated on the rugged south coast of the Isle of Islay, Scotland. Celebrated globally for its distinctively bold, peaty, and medicinal character, the distillery remains one of the few that still utilizes traditional floor maltings to dry its barley over local, hand-cut Islay peat. This artisanal heritage, paired with distillation in unique copper pot stills and maturation primarily in first-fill ex-bourbon casks, defines its legendary portfolio, which includes the iconic 10 Year Old, Quarter Cask, and highly coveted aged limited editions.
