The name 'Los Intocables' (The Untouchables) evokes the rebellious spirit of the American Prohibition era, a theme reflected in its unique production method. This Malbec is crafted from grapes grown in the high-altitude, sun-drenched vineyards of San Juan. The defining signature of this wine is its aging process: it is matured in charred American oak barrels previously used for aging Bourbon. This unconventional technique infuses the deep, dark Malbec with distinctive notes of caramel, vanilla, smoke, and sweet spices, layering over the natural dark fruit flavors of plums and blueberries to create a remarkably rich, velvety, and robust profile.

Established in the 1990s in San Juan, Argentina, Finca Las Moras emerged as an essential pioneer in reshaping the region's viticultural landscape across the Tulum, Zonda, and Pedernal Valleys. Now part of the Grupo Peñaflor family, the winery takes its name from the native blackberry trees that frame its high-altitude vineyards tucked against the Andes Mountains.
