Drawing fruit from premium vineyards across the region, this wine pays homage to the pioneering spirit of Dr. Henry Lindeman, who established the winery in 1843 with the belief that wine should bring simple joy to everyday life. The South Australian terroir, characterized by warm days and cool nights, allows the Shiraz grapes to reach optimal ripeness, developing rich dark fruit flavors and soft, supple tannins. Vinified with a combination of traditional and modern techniques, the wine is typically aged with a touch of oak to add complexity, resulting in a classic Australian Shiraz that balances bold fruit with subtle spice.

Lindeman's blev grundlagt i 1843 af den engelske flådelæge Dr. Henry Lindeman på hans Cawarra-ejendom i Hunter Valley, New South Wales, og har siden udviklet sig til et af Australiens mest traditionsrige og globalt anerkendte vinhuse. I dag drives vinhuset under ledelse af Treasury Wine Estates, og dets vinmarker spænder over flere af Australiens bedste terroirs med fremtrædende parceller i berømte regioner som Coonawarra i South Australia. Vinhusets filosofi bygger på tilgængelighed, druetypisk renhed og kompromisløs konsistens.
