The 2002 Cristal Medallion Jeroboam is an extraordinary monument to Champagne craftsmanship, representing a rare union of haute joaillerie and master winemaking. For this limited-edition release, designer Philippe Di M o created a stunning, hand-crafted 24-carat gold-plated latticework that envelops the massive three-liter bottle, requiring four days of work by master goldsmiths. Inside is the legendary 2002 Cristal, sourced entirely from biodynamically farmed Grand Cru vineyards in the Montagne de Reims, Vall e de la Marne, and C te des Blancs. The 2002 vintage in Champagne is widely regarded as one of the greatest in modern history, characterized by a warm, dry summer that yielded grapes of perfect health and exceptional concentration. Crafted without malolactic fermentation to preserve its laser-like acidity, and aged extensively on its lees, this prestige cuv e offers a breathtaking sensory experience of crystallized citrus, toasted hazelnuts, and deep chalky minerality, magnified by the slow, majestic aging process unique to the Jeroboam format.
