✨ Technical Specifications
Théophile Brut Rosé, affectionately known as 'Théo,' carries a rich heritage that traces back to the historic house of Théophile Roederer, founded in the 19th century and acquired by Louis Roederer in 1904. Revived to celebrate a chic, bohemian spirit, this cuvée is crafted with the same meticulous standards as the grand wines of the parent house. The blend typically unites Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Meunier, sourced from select vineyards across the Champagne region. To achieve its delicate salmon-pink hue and vibrant red fruit profile, a small percentage of still red Pinot Noir wine is traditionally blended into the white base. The wine undergoes traditional bottle fermentation and is aged on its lees to develop a soft, creamy texture that beautifully balances its bright acidity and fresh notes of wild strawberry, raspberry, and subtle toasted brioche.
🍾 About the Producer
Founded in 1776 as Dubois Père & Fils and renamed in 1833 by visionary entrepreneur Louis Roederer, Champagne Louis Roederer remains one of the rare independent, family-run prestige Champagne houses, stewarded today by the Rouzaud family. Based in Reims, the house commands over 240 hectares of premier and grand cru vineyards spread across the Montagne de Reims, Côte des Blancs, and Vallée de la Marne, distinguished by a profound commitment to organic and biodynamic viticulture. Renowned for its masterly balance of power and finesse, Louis Roederer is globally celebrated for creating the world's first prestige cuvée, Cristal, commissioned in 1876 for Tsar Alexander II of Russia, alongside exceptional vintage Champagnes and its hallmark multi-vintage Collection cuvées.
