The name 'La Linda' ('The Beautiful') pays tribute to the scenic beauty of the estate's vineyards situated at the foot of the Andes. Luigi Bosca was among the pioneers in Argentina to champion Viognier, recognizing that the intense solar radiation and cool mountain nights of Mendoza could yield a wine of exceptional aromatic intensity and balanced acidity.
