✨ Technical Specifications
M. Chapoutier's Belleruche Rose is a vibrant tribute to the sun-drenched terroirs of the Cotes-du-Rhone. The name Belleruche translates to 'beautiful beehive,' evoking the buzzing biodiversity and natural harmony found within the Rhone Valley's vineyards. Crafted primarily from a classic Southern Rhone blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault, this rose reflects the diverse soils of the region, ranging from limestone to clay and stony terraces. The Chapoutier family, established in the Rhone since 1808, utilizes gentle direct pressing and temperature-controlled stainless steel fermentation to preserve the delicate, fresh aromas of red currants, raspberry, and stone fruits. This approach yields a crisp, elegant, and expressive rose that captures the joyful, Mediterranean spirit of Southern France.
🍾 About the Producer
Founded in 1808 in Tain-l'Hermitage in the Rhône Valley, M. Chapoutier has grown into one of France's most celebrated wine houses, propelled to international acclaim following Michel Chapoutier's visionary leadership in 1990. A pioneer in biodynamic viticulture and minimal-intervention winemaking, the estate is revered for its single-vineyard 'sélections parcellaires' that articulate the purest nuances of individual terroirs across the Rhône and beyond. Iconic for incorporating Braille script on every label since 1996, Chapoutier produces benchmark expressions of Syrah, Marsanne, and Grenache across prestigious appellations including Hermitage, Côte-Rôtie, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
