M. Chapoutier's 'L'Art et le Vin' represents a beautiful intersection of viticulture and artistic expression, a philosophy deeply cherished by Michel Chapoutier, who views wine as a living canvas. Established in the Rhône Valley in 1808, the Chapoutier family has long been a pioneer in biodynamic farming, seeking to let the terroir speak without filter. This red cuvée showcases the classic, robust character of the Rhône, typically drawing from the region's signature Syrah and Grenache grapes. The wine is crafted to reflect the harmony of the elements: the sun-drenched soils, the cooling Mistral wind, and the steep, stony terraces. It undergoes meticulous fermentation and aging in oak casks to develop its complex aromatic profile of dark berries, cracked black pepper, and garrigue herbs, embodying the rich heritage and creative spirit of Northern and Southern Rhône traditions.

M. Chapoutier blev grundlagt i 1808 i Tain-l'Hermitage i Rhônedalen og har siden udviklet sig til et af Frankrigs mest berømte vinhuse. Husets internationale stjernestatus tog for alvor fart, da Michel Chapoutier overtog roret i 1990 med sin kompromisløse vision. Som pioner inden for biodynamisk vindyrkning og minimal intervention i vinkælderen er ejendommen særligt hyldet for sine enkeltmarks-aftapninger, 'sélections parcellaires', der formidler de fineste terroiregenskaber på tværs af Rhône og andre vinregioner. Chapoutier, der siden 1996 ikonisk har haft punktskrift (blindeskrift) på alle etiketter, skaber referencepunkter for druer som Syrah, Marsanne og Grenache i prestigiøse appellationer som Hermitage, Côte-Rôtie og Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
