Hailing from the sun-drenched slopes of the Luberon in the southern Rhône Valley, M. Chapoutier's 'La Ciboise' Blanc is a vibrant testament to the region's Mediterranean charm. The wine is typically crafted from a traditional southern blend of Grenache Blanc, Vermentino, Ugni Blanc, and Roussanne, grown on limestone and clay-silt soils. The Chapoutier family, winegrowers since 1808, named this cuvée after 'La Ciboise,' a historic family estate. Michel Chapoutier, a pioneer of biodynamics, famously includes Braille on all his labels—a tribute to the blind community and a nod to making wine accessible to all. Vinified entirely in stainless steel to preserve its bright, aromatic purity, this white wine showcases notes of white blossoms, citrus, and peach, underpinned by a refreshing mineral spine driven by the cool Alpine winds that sweep through the Luberon.

M. Chapoutier blev grundlagt i 1808 i Tain-l'Hermitage i Rhônedalen og har siden udviklet sig til et af Frankrigs mest berømte vinhuse. Husets internationale stjernestatus tog for alvor fart, da Michel Chapoutier overtog roret i 1990 med sin kompromisløse vision. Som pioner inden for biodynamisk vindyrkning og minimal intervention i vinkælderen er ejendommen særligt hyldet for sine enkeltmarks-aftapninger, 'sélections parcellaires', der formidler de fineste terroiregenskaber på tværs af Rhône og andre vinregioner. Chapoutier, der siden 1996 ikonisk har haft punktskrift (blindeskrift) på alle etiketter, skaber referencepunkter for druer som Syrah, Marsanne og Grenache i prestigiøse appellationer som Hermitage, Côte-Rôtie og Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
