M. Chapoutier's 'La Muse de RW' is an exceptional white Saint-Joseph that pays homage to the dramatic genius of composer Richard Wagner. Crafted from 100% Marsanne grown on the steep, granite-rich slopes of the Saint-Joseph appellation in the Northern Rhône, this wine showcases the grape's incredible texture and depth. Historically, the Chapoutier family has championed biodynamic farming and expressive terroir-driven cuvées. 'La Muse de RW' is vinified and aged in oak barrels, resulting in a complex profile of stone fruits, honeysuckle, roasted nuts, and a distinct mineral tension derived from the fractured granite soils. It represents a harmonious marriage of power and elegance, much like a Wagnerian opera.

M. Chapoutier blev grundlagt i 1808 i Tain-l'Hermitage i Rhônedalen og har siden udviklet sig til et af Frankrigs mest berømte vinhuse. Husets internationale stjernestatus tog for alvor fart, da Michel Chapoutier overtog roret i 1990 med sin kompromisløse vision. Som pioner inden for biodynamisk vindyrkning og minimal intervention i vinkælderen er ejendommen særligt hyldet for sine enkeltmarks-aftapninger, 'sélections parcellaires', der formidler de fineste terroiregenskaber på tværs af Rhône og andre vinregioner. Chapoutier, der siden 1996 ikonisk har haft punktskrift (blindeskrift) på alle etiketter, skaber referencepunkter for druer som Syrah, Marsanne og Grenache i prestigiøse appellationer som Hermitage, Côte-Rôtie og Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
