Produced under the IGP Collines Rhodaniennes designation, this wine allows the legendary maison of M. Chapoutier to showcase a more approachable, fruit-forward side of Northern Rhône Syrah while maintaining a strict focus on terroir. The name itself refers to the shimmering mica minerals found in the local granite, which reflect heat and contribute to the wine's signature freshness and mineral tension. Fermented and aged primarily in stainless steel and concrete vats to preserve its vibrant primary fruit, this cuvée captures the classic aromatic profile of the region—bursting with dark berries, cracked black pepper, and delicate violet notes.

Established in 1808 in Tain-l'Hermitage, M.
