The M. Chapoutier NV Assortment Case represents a curated journey through some of the finest terroirs of the Rhône Valley, assembled by one of France's most historic and revolutionary wine families. Established in Tain-l'Hermitage in 1808, the house of Chapoutier rose to global renown under the visionary leadership of Michel Chapoutier, who pioneered biodynamic viticulture in the region during the 1990s. Guided by the family motto 'Fac et Spera' (Do and Hope), Chapoutier's philosophy is to let the soil speak without interference. This assortment typically showcases his celebrated 'Sélections Parcellaires'—single-vineyard expressions from legendary appellations like Hermitage, Côte-Rôtie, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Notably, every bottle features braille on the label, a tribute initiated in 1996 to honor the blind singer Gilbert Montagné and to make wine accessible to all. The collection offers a masterclass in the diverse soils of the Rhône, from steep granite terraces to alluvial rolled pebbles, capturing the pure essence of Syrah, Grenache, Marsanne, and Roussanne.

Chapoutier is one of the Rhône Valley's most historic and revered wine producers, currently led by the visionary Michel Chapoutier who transitioned the estate to biodynamic farming in the 1990s. The maison is globally celebrated for its pioneering "sélections parcellaires" (single-vineyard wines) and its commitment to expressing the pure terroir of prestigious appellations like Hermitage, Côte-Rôtie, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Utilizing traditional, low-intervention winemaking techniques, Chapoutier produces highly acclaimed reds and whites, including iconic labels such as the Châteauneuf-du-Pape Barbe Rac, Côte-Rôtie La Mordorée, and the Hermitage-derived La Sizeranne. Beyond the Rhône, the family has expanded its terroir-driven philosophy to exceptional estates in Roussillon, Australia's Victoria region, and Portugal's Douro Valley.
