Founded in 1997 by American native Alex Gambal after studying viticulture in Beaune, Maison Alex Gambal represents a remarkable bridge between New World passion and classic Burgundian tradition. Operating from cellars along the historic boulevards of Beaune in the heart of Burgundy, the house evolved from a boutique négociant into an estate-holding domaine committed to organic viticultural principles and minimal-intervention vinification. The domaine crafts expressive, terroir-focused wines, utilizing indigenous yeasts and prudent oak aging to capture the pure essence of legendary climats. Maison Alex Gambal is celebrated for its precise, mineral-driven Chardonnays, such as Meursault Clos Cromin, as well as refined, structured Pinot Noirs spanning regional cuvées to prestigious Grand Crus like Chambertin.
