Herederos del Marqués de Riscal, established in 1858, stands as a pioneering beacon of Rioja's winemaking revolution, famously introducing French production techniques to the region. Their Rosado represents a vibrant, contemporary expression of this historic estate's craftsmanship. Crafted primarily from Tempranillo and Garnacha grapes grown on the clay-limestone soils of Rioja Alavesa, this rosé is produced using the traditional 'sangrado' (bleeding) method. After a brief cold maceration to extract delicate pale pink hues and fresh primary aromas, the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures to preserve its bright fruit character. The result is a wine that bridges the estate's storied past with a fresh, lively, and elegant modern profile, bursting with notes of wild strawberries, raspberries, and white flowers.

Founded in 1858 by Guillermo Hurtado de Am zaga, Herederos del Marqu s de Riscal is one of the oldest and most pioneering wineries in Rioja, located in the historic town of Elciego. Renowned for introducing Bordeaux-style winemaking techniques to Spain, the estate pioneered the use of oak barrel aging in the region and later championed the Rueda DO for white wines. Today, the winery is celebrated for its iconic Frank Gehry-designed City of Wine and its exceptional portfolio, which ranges from traditional, structured Tempranillo-based Rioja Reservas to fresh, aromatic Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc whites.
