✨ Tekniske specifikationer
Hailing from the historic Marqués de Riscal, a producer legendary for pioneering modern winemaking in Spain, this Superieur Blanco represents the vibrant potential of Castilla y León's high-altitude terroirs. In the 1970s, Marqués de Riscal, guided by the renowned French enologist Émile Peynaud, revolutionized Spanish white wine production by introducing temperature-controlled stainless steel fermentation and championing the indigenous Verdejo grape. Grown on stony, gravel-rich soils under a harsh continental climate with dramatic diurnal temperature shifts, this white wine showcases a brilliant expression of freshness and minerality. It is typically crafted primarily from Verdejo, sometimes accented with Sauvignon Blanc, resulting in a wine defined by bright citrus, stone fruit, and delicate herbaceous undertones, finished with a crisp, refreshing acidity.
