Sourced from premier estate vineyards, this cuv e reflects the family's multi-generational farming heritage in Sonoma County. The grapes are meticulously hand-harvested and undergo fermentation with wild yeasts. True to the Martinelli signature style, the wine is aged in French oak barrels and bottled unfined and unfiltered, preserving its deep concentration, velvety texture, and the vibrant, forest-floor and dark cherry aromatics characteristic of this cool-climate appellation.

Martinelli Winery blev grundlagt i slutningen af 1880'erne af de italienske immigranter Giuseppe Martinelli og Luisa Vellutini og er i dag en berømmet familieejad vingård med dybe rødder i Californiens Russian River Valley og Sonoma Coast. Gennem mere end et århundrede har familien dyrket historiske, stejle skråninger – herunder de legendariske parceller Jackass Hill og Jackass Vineyard, som blev beplantet helt tilbage i 1887.
