✨ wine.spec_sheet

Masi's Modello Merlot is a vibrant expression of the contemporary Venetian lifestyle, crafted by the historic Boscaini family who have championed the region's viticulture for generations. Sourced from select vineyards across the fertile plains and rolling hills of the Trevenezie IGT—a vast winegrowing area spanning Veneto, Friuli, and Trentino—this wine represents a modern, approachable style. The terroir, characterized by alluvial soils and a climate softened by Adriatic breezes, coaxes out the lush, soft fruit characteristics of the Merlot grape. Fermented primarily in temperature-controlled stainless steel to preserve its bright, primary fruit aromas of red cherries and plums, it offers a fresh, balanced, and highly hospitable profile that pays homage to the traditional Venetian art of welcoming guests with an uncomplicated yet elegant glass of red wine.

🍾 wine.about_producer

Established in 1772 when the Boscaini family acquired their first vineyards in the 'Vaio dei Masi' valley, Masi Agricola is a benchmark producer of the Veneto region in northeastern Italy. Still family-owned and led by Sandro Boscaini, the estate is globally renowned for its expertise in the traditional Appassimento technique, where grapes are dried on bamboo racks to concentrate flavors. Masi is celebrated for pioneering the double-fermentation method behind its iconic Campofiorin, as well as crafting legendary Amarone della Valpolicella expressions like Costasera, Mazzano, and Campolongo di Torbe. Their portfolio beautifully bridges heritage and innovation, showcasing the diverse terroirs of Veneto, Friuli, and beyond through expressive red, white, and rosé wines.
