The Aquarius Marsanne Viognier by McPherson Wines is a vibrant homage to the classic white blends of the Rhône Valley, reimagined in the unique terroir of Central Victoria. The 'Aquarius' label draws inspiration from the water bearer of the zodiac, symbolizing life, flow, and refreshing purity. In Victoria, Marsanne has a legendary history, finding a second spiritual home in the region's sandy loam soils and warm days tempered by cool nights. Winemaker Jo Nash masterfully coaxes out the distinct personalities of both varieties: the Marsanne provides a structured, textured backbone with notes of citrus and honeysuckle, while the Viognier injects a luscious, aromatic lift of stone fruit and exotic spice. Crafted with minimal oak influence to preserve its bright fruit character, this wine represents a harmonious marriage of texture and perfume.

McPherson Wines blev grundlagt i 1993 af Andrew McPherson som en videreførelse af en stolt vinfamiliearv, der går tilbage til 1968. Vingården har hjemme i det naturskønne Central Victoria nær Nagambie i Australien.
