The Moonstruck series by McPherson Wines pays homage to the magic of the night harvest under the Australian sky, where cool evening temperatures help preserve the natural acidity and bright fruit profiles of the grapes. This distinctive blend marries the structured elegance of Cabernet Sauvignon with the robust, ink-dark intensity of Durif, also known as Petite Sirah. Sourced from select vineyards across South Eastern Australia, the wine undergoes careful fermentation to balance Cabernet's classic blackcurrant and subtle herbal notes with the powerful dark plum, spice, and chewy tannins characteristic of Durif. It represents a harmonious and deeply flavorful expression of contemporary Australian winemaking.

McPherson Wines blev grundlagt i 1993 af Andrew McPherson som en videreførelse af en stolt vinfamiliearv, der går tilbage til 1968. Vingården har hjemme i det naturskønne Central Victoria nær Nagambie i Australien.
