Crafted in the rugged terrain of the Texas High Plains, this white blend is a testament to the pioneering spirit of the McPherson family, who helped lay the foundations of the modern Texas wine industry. Recognizing that traditional French varieties struggled in the intense Texas heat, winemaker Kim McPherson championed Rhône grape varieties like Roussanne and Marsanne, which thrive in the region's high-elevation vineyards (sitting at over 3,000 feet), sandy loam soils, and dramatic diurnal temperature shifts. This blend is typically fermented in stainless steel to preserve its vibrant, aromatic profile, combining the rich, textured pear and honeyed notes of Roussanne with the bright acidity and stone fruit elegance of Marsanne.

McPherson Wines blev grundlagt i 1993 af Andrew McPherson som en videreførelse af en stolt vinfamiliearv, der går tilbage til 1968. Vingården har hjemme i det naturskønne Central Victoria nær Nagambie i Australien.
