Hailing from the historic Sagmor Vineyard in the Texas High Plains, this dry rosé is a tribute to the pioneering spirit of Texas viticulture. Planted in the 1970s by Dr. Clinton 'Doc' McPherson—a legendary figure regarded as one of the founding fathers of the modern Texas wine industry—Sagmor Vineyard has long been a testing ground for varieties that thrive in the state's challenging climate. Doc's son, winemaker Kim McPherson, crafts this expressive rosé from Sangiovese, a grape that finds a natural home in the red sandy soils and high-altitude diurnal shifts of Lubbock. Fermented cool in stainless steel to preserve its delicate aromatics, the wine showcases the bright, sun-drenched character of Texas terroir, offering a crisp, refreshing profile that bridges Old World structure with New World fruit intensity.

McPherson Wines blev grundlagt i 1993 af Andrew McPherson som en videreførelse af en stolt vinfamiliearv, der går tilbage til 1968. Vingården har hjemme i det naturskønne Central Victoria nær Nagambie i Australien.
