Named in honor of Andrew McPherson's son, Angus, 'The Angus' Red Blend represents the family's multi-generational dedication to crafting approachable, character-rich wines from South Eastern Australia. This wine showcases the classic Australian tradition of blending complementary red varietals to achieve a harmonious balance of structure and vibrant fruit. The grapes are sourced from select vineyards across the region, where warm sunny days and cool nights allow the fruit to develop rich, ripe flavors while retaining fresh acidity. In the cellar, winemaker Jo Nash focuses on preserving this bright fruit profile, utilizing careful fermentation and subtle oak aging to create a smooth, medium-to-full-bodied red with soft tannins and a lingering finish. McPherson Wines blev grundlagt i 1993 af Andrew McPherson som en videreførelse af en stolt vinfamiliearv, der går tilbage til 1968. Vingården har hjemme i det naturskønne Central Victoria nær Nagambie i Australien.
