Crafted by McPherson Cellars in Lubbock, Texas, the 'Tre Colore' is a testament to the pioneering spirit of the McPherson family, who have been instrumental in shaping the Texas wine industry since the 1970s. Winemaker Kim McPherson created this Mediterranean-style red blend as a tribute to the warm, sun-drenched terroirs of Southern France, finding a perfect parallel in the high-elevation, sandy loam soils of the Texas High Plains AVA. The region's intense daytime heat and cooling evening breezes preserve the natural acidity of the grapes, resulting in a wine that is remarkably fresh, soft, and aromatic. This red blend captures the rustic charm and vibrant fruit character of Texas-grown Rhône and Mediterranean varieties, proving that these grapes are beautifully suited to the Lone Star State's unique climate.

McPherson Wines blev grundlagt i 1993 af Andrew McPherson som en videreførelse af en stolt vinfamiliearv, der går tilbage til 1968. Vingården har hjemme i det naturskønne Central Victoria nær Nagambie i Australien.
