✨ wine.spec_sheet

Hailing from the sun-drenched vineyards of the Adige Valley in Trentino, Mezzacorona's Firmian Merlot pays tribute to the historic Castel Firmian, a medieval fortress that has watched over the region's viticulture for centuries. This wine is crafted from Merlot grapes grown in alluvial, gravelly soils that benefit from the dramatic diurnal temperature shifts of the Italian Alps. The grapes are vinified with traditional skin contact under temperature control, followed by a brief period of aging in oak barrels to soften the tannins while preserving the grape's natural vivacity. The result is a classic cool-climate Merlot boasting bright wild berry aromas, subtle herbal undertones, and a velvety, harmonious finish that reflects the alpine elegance of its terroir.
