Hailing from the sun-drenched hills of Catalunya, Torres Atrium Red is a tribute to the ancient Roman heritage of the Penedès region, where the 'atrium' served as the warm, central heart of the home—a place of gathering, music, and shared wine. Crafted by the legendary Familia Torres, pioneers of modern Spanish winemaking, this wine is typically a monovarietal expression of Merlot. The grapes thrive in the clay-limestone soils of the region, benefiting from the Mediterranean breeze. After careful fermentation, the wine is aged in French oak barrels for approximately six months. This careful upbringing yields a round, velvety red bursting with ripe plum, dark cherry, and subtle hints of cocoa and sweet spices, showcasing a harmonious bridge between Spanish terroir and classic international varietals.

Founded in 1870 by brothers Jaime and Miguel Torres Vendrell in Vilafranca del Penedès, Familia Torres has grown into one of Spain's most storied and internationally acclaimed wine dynasties.
