La Causa Red Blend is a tribute to Chile's viticultural heritage, born from a passionate project by Miguel Torres Chile to rescue and champion the ancestral grape varieties of the historic southern valleys. The name 'La Causa' ('The Cause') represents the mission to support local small-scale winegrowers who have kept these ancient, dry-farmed bush vines alive for generations. This unique red blend typically combines Cinsault, País, and Carignan—varieties that have defined the Chilean countryside for centuries. Grown on weathered granitic soils and crafted using low-intervention winemaking techniques, the wine showcases a rustic yet vibrant character, marked by bright red fruit, wild herbs, and a distinctive earthy minerality that reflects the soul of Chile's historic vineyards.

Founded in 1870 by brothers Jaime and Miguel Torres Vendrell in Vilafranca del Penedès, Familia Torres has grown into one of Spain's most storied and internationally acclaimed wine dynasties.
