Produced by the historic Familia Torres at their Pago del Cielo winery, Celeste Crianza is an opulent expression of Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) cultivated in the high-altitude vineyards of Ribera del Duero, sitting nearly 900 meters above sea level. The name 'Celeste' is inspired by the magnificent, star-filled night skies of the Castilian plateau, which are beautifully depicted on the wine's label as a map of the constellations visible during the autumn harvest. The extreme continental climate of this elevated terroir, characterized by hot days and cool nights, allows the grapes to achieve optimal ripeness while preserving freshness. The wine undergoes traditional fermentation and is aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels, yielding a rich profile of dark blackberries, blueberries, toasted cocoa, and sweet spices.
