✨ wine.spec_sheet

Hailing from the high-altitude vineyards of Ribera del Duero in Spain's Castilla y Leon region, Celeste is a modern classic crafted by the historic Familia Torres. The wine's name, meaning 'celestial', pays homage to the breathtaking night skies above the town of Fompedraza, where the vineyards sit at nearly 900 meters above sea level. At this extreme elevation, the stars seem close enough to touch, a poetic image captured on the wine's label, which depicts the star constellation as it appears during the autumn harvest. Made entirely from Tinto Fino (Tempranillo), the grapes experience dramatic diurnal temperature shifts, which lock in vibrant acidity and deep color. The wine is typically aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels, resulting in a rich, velvety profile marked by intense blackberry fruit, subtle spices, and toasted cocoa notes.
