The wine pays homage to Daniel Vardon Kennett, an English maritime trader who arrived in Barcelona in the late 18th century and adopted the historic Santa Maria de Valldera estate in the Penedès as his home. Centuries later, Torres restored this heritage estate and dedicated this cuvée to his adventurous spirit. Sourced from high-elevation vineyards in the Alt Penedès to preserve vibrant acidity amidst a changing climate, this traditional method sparkling wine typically blends Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Xarel·lo.
