Miguel Torres Chile's Nectaria is a testament to the family's pioneering spirit in the Curicó Valley within Chile's Central Valley. Crafted from Riesling, this luscious dessert wine relies on the rare and magical development of Botrytis cinerea, or noble rot, which thrives under the unique microclimatic conditions of morning mists and warm afternoon sun near the Andes. The grapes are meticulously hand-harvested in successive passes to select only the perfectly botrytised berries. Fermented slowly and aged in French oak, Nectaria offers a sensory journey of candied stone fruits, wild honey, and floral notes, all balanced by the vibrant, spine-tingling acidity characteristic of the Riesling grape. This wine represents a masterful fusion of European sweet winemaking tradition and the pristine terroir of Chile.

Familia Torres blev grundlagt i 1870 af brødrene Jaime og Miguel Torres Vendrell i Vilafranca del Penedès og har siden udviklet sig til et af Spaniens mest traditionsrige og internationalt anerkendte vindynastier.
