Miguel Torres Chile's 'Tenaz' is a tribute to the tenacious spirit of the traditional winegrowers in the historic Itata Valley of southern Chile. For generations, these farmers maintained dry-farmed, head-trained old vines of Cinsault against economic hardships. 'Tenaz' (meaning tenacious) showcases this heritage, sourced from ancient bush vines grown on weathered granitic soils rich in quartz. The coastal influence of the nearby Pacific Ocean provides cool breezes, preserving the grape's natural high acidity and bright fruit profile. Vinified with minimal intervention to emphasize its varietal purity, the wine exhibits a vibrant, fresh character filled with wild red berries, floral notes, and a distinct mineral undertone that reflects its unique ancestral terroir.
